IT'S OUR BIRTHDAY!

SPP TURNS 5

happy birthday spp!

This month, we're celebrating an epic FIVE years of helping our beautiful community to cut through the chaos, and find their happiest self. It’s been a truly wild ride. Here's Steph's story…

WHERE IT ALL BEGAN

Five years ago, I announced my new passion project: a business I planned to run from my garage. I spent over a year creating a planner to help people with messy minds like mine. It was the planner I always wished for but had never found.

I took a terrifying leap and printed 1,500 planners. I was SO scared that no one would buy it, or even like it. I couldn’t believe it when they ended up selling out almost instantly and I had to restock again and again. I was over the moon that people loved my planners as much as I did.

But with all that excitement came the challenges and curveballs…

IN OVER MY HEAD

My days were spent packing thousands of orders on the driveway on an old camping table, doing customer service at night, printing shipping labels at 3am, navigating lost parcels and looking after a 1 and 3 year old.

I really needed help getting orders out so I hired friends to help me pack and eventually bit the bullet and hired my first staff member.

MY BEAUTIFUL COMMUNITY

I held my first ever event, the SPP Launch Party. The event sold out in under an hour. It was the most surreal moment. I could finally hug and meet my beautiful online community in person. A reunion is well overdue!

(Fun fact: Mr Pase let his nerves get the better of him, had too many beers and got kicked out at 10pm 🤣).

MOVING OUT OF HOME

I launched new products and the garage began to overflow. Stock was taking over my house! So I made the terrifying leap and rented my very first warehouse. It felt way too big, but it was a huge milestone I never thought I would reach.

Each year I added new planners and organisational products to the collection on my mission to help more and more people. Suddenly, I was being invited to speak at events not as an “influencer”, but instead as a business owner. I was finally using my uni degree. 🤣

MY ROCK

Despite all the highlights, there were so many mistakes, tears, late nights, risks and the constant imposter syndrome that I still battle to this day.

But no matter what, there was my husband Ryan standing beside me through it all. He not only believed in me, but he also believed in SPP and what we stand for.

ON A MISSION...

Today, we’re in our third warehouse. A warehouse that looks nearly identical to the one on my vision board. And as my product range continues to grow…so does my team and my mission. But the one thing that has never changed is my purpose.

THANK YOU!

I’ll always be the girl in the garage, juggling babies and boxes. I will be forever grateful for those first orders and the people who believed in me even when I didn't believe in myself.

LOVE, STEPH x
